Encaustic and Acrylic Fusion, Gallery Opening at Chester County Art Association. Saturday, May 8th from 1-5 pm with a meet and greet with the artists Erica Brown and Justin Phillips.

CCAA is excited to show these two artist's work together. Both artists work in abstract, with Phillips capturing his muse from the dynamics and inner workings of the world in which we live, which brings his work alive with color and design. Bold strikes and lines sear through the canvas. Brown is dually inspired by nature, and the conflict of man with nature, giving rise to unusual encaustic designs that are put on, torn, burned, and washed away. Layer by layer Brown's work gives rise and becomes a creation born on observation, passion, and empathy.

The show runs through May 29th. Mall hours are Wed, Thurs and Saturday from 11am-7pm.
